II. Get started

We'll send you a link.

No password. Enter your work email, or the personal email your employer has on file, and we'll send a link that signs you in.

The link works for 15 minutes. We never ask for your SSN or a password.

III. What we share

Only what the request needs.

With a valid purpose
That you work there (or did)
Your job title
Your start date, and end date if any
Full time or part time
Only with your approval
Your pay rate or salary
Pay history
Bonus or overtime
Anything beyond employment facts

We never share your home address, SSN, performance reviews, or reason for leaving. Requests that don't qualify are turned down and logged.

IV. Questions

Common questions.

Someone says they asked for my income and nothing came. Why?

Income only goes out after you approve it. Check your email and texts for a request from Smithdale, or sign in above to see it.

Can I give a lender a code instead?

Yes. From your history page you can create a one-time salary key and give it to a lender. It lets them pull your pay information once.

I don't work there anymore. Does this still work?

Yes, for as long as your former employer keeps Smithdale. We can confirm your dates and title.

Something on my letter is wrong.

Tell your HR team. We answer from their payroll records, so they correct it there and we update the same day.
